COVID-19 Information

Information found here.

Ma fille n’est pas une grande coureuse. Est-ce que ce programme lui conviendra? OU Ma fille est déjà une coureuse expérimentée. Est-ce que ce programme lui conviendra?

My girl isn't a big runner; is this program for her? OR My girl is already a skilled runner. Is this program for her?

Yes! GOTR is so much more than running!  Every girl can benefit from the experience of building confidence through accomplishment while participating in our rich, curriculum-based, age-appropriate, interactive lessons and team-building. She can expect lots of games, talking, laughing and creative expression each day. And know that when we say "run," we mean run, walk, skip, roll or push, just as long as you are moving foward!

What does the $150 registration fee include?

A total of 10 weeks of programming / 20 lessons that are led by GOTR-trained coaches
A personal "Girl Journal"
A cinch sack/bag for her own GOTR items
All curriculum and lesson materials needed for the season
An official Girls on the Run season program shirt and water bottle
A healthy snack at each practice
Registration and entry fee into our Celebratory 5K event
5K Finisher's medal

We can't afford the program registration fee, but our child would love to participate. How does financial aid work?

We NEVER want cost to be the reason she doesn't participate and are committed to making Girls on the Run accessible to all who want to particpate! Thanks to the generosity of donors, grants, and community supporters, financial aid is available to any girl who needs it. We are also proud to offer our GOTR Soles Shoe program which provides quality running shoes to girls who need assistance. Financial aid eligibility is included in the online registration process through a series of questions to determine eligibility. Familes will know immediately if financial aid is awarded and the fee will be adjusted accordingly. (Eligibility is based on a sliding scale based on household size and income.)

What is your refund policy for Camp GOTR?

You may receive a 75% refund IF REQUESTED 7 days prior to the first day of camp in order to allow our council ample time to fill the spot. A request for Session #1 must be submitted by midnight on June 13, 2022. A request for Session #2 must be sumbitted by midnight on July 4, 2022. Requests may be submitted via email to our Program Coordinator, Melissa Colby at melissa.colby@girlsontherun.org

AFTER THESE DATES, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

Additionally, if a Camp GOTR session is cancelled due to insufficient participant registration or if Girls on the Run cancels a Camp GOTR session, the registration fee will be refunded to each participant in the amount they paid.

Do girls need to attend all days of her Camp GOTR session each week in order to register?

Yes! Camp GOTR lessons and activities build up from one day's lesson to the next. We also focus on individual goal-setting and team-building Therefore, if your girl will be unable to attend all days of camp for the entire length of time, please do not take a slot and save room for a girl who can attend 100% of the time. We hope you will consider joining us in a future camp session when she can enjoy the entire length of camp.

Is there a way for me or my business to sponsor an individual girl, a team of girls, or a Camp GOTR session?

Yes! As a mission-driven 501(c)3, Girls on the Run relies on generous donors in order to provide more than $30,000 in program scholarships for families in need. Please reach out to candice.mcintosh@girlsontherun.org to receive more information about sponsoring a girl or a team of girls this season.
